Crush defeated by Chippewa Valley Predators
EAU CLAIRE, WIS. – The Eau Claire Crush lost to the Chippewa Valley Predators, 0-80 on Saturday night at Carson Park.
The defense tried to hold the Predators throughout the game but could not stop them. The Crush put in a great effort but unfortunately that was not enough.
Crush offense had a tough time connecting, the Predators defense held the Crush on many plays. Quarterback Zach Weller completed 1 out of 10 passes for four yards. Weller had 2 interceptions in the game.
The game clock had to go to ‘running time’ at the start of the third quarter due to the score, 0-60.
Crush fans felt defeated after the first half but they did not stop supporting their team. Cheering is what gets the Crush back in the game. The players had great energy in the second half and kept their heads high.
The Crush will continue in game 4 of the season against the Rough Riders on Saturday June 7th at Carson Park. Come out and cheer on the Eau Claire Crush.
